I have been a subscriber to a monthly beauty box for about four months. I first discover Ipsy “glam Bag” from watching YouTube, sorry I can’t remember who exactly motivated me to join the subscription service. When doing a comparison of products, 5-6 medium priced brands in large samples size, to the $10 price of the services and I have to say it is worth it. So here is a look I was able to put together using mostly Ipsy products. I of course used my everyday foundation Covergirl Queen 3-n-1 and my Maybelline Fitme! powder. Other than that, it’s all Ipsy. I love the look and to see a video of how I achieved it check out my YouTube channel.
Products Used:
EYES
Bella Terra's Navy is a satin finish mineral eye shadow that is blue with purple flex in it.
It was applied to the outer V of my eye
NYX's Morocco eye shadow is a smokey purple eye shadow that has a metallic finish.
It was applied to the inner half of my eye and blended into the Navy
Starlooks Obsidian eyeliner is a little hard to work at first but once the kohl warms up it is really good. I lined the upper and lower lashes giving myself a small cat eye.
Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big Volumizing Mascara is ok. I can honestly say that there are better
mascaras in the drugstore that give you volume and that last a long time. It was nice to try a new brand but I will
stick with my Almay's One Coat or my Covergirl Professional mascara.
FACE & LIPS
For the cheeks I used Benefit lip and cheek stain. It gives you a rosy look.
Urban Decay's Revolution lipstick in 69 is amazing. I love it so much I am really considering purchasing the regular size. I love the matte redish-orange look. The lipstick is comfortable to wear and last a really long time.
Overall I love the look and feel that it can be worn daytime or night. If you are looking to try new makeup products on a small scale defiantly check out Ipsy. I think you will be amazed about the quantity and quality of the products you receive for just $10.
Till late Ciao,
